Campus Marketing Intern
About us:
ConnectED Mobile is disrupting cell phone services for (international) students! We saw the expensive rates and hassle students face when finding a cellphone plan so we decided to do something about it. We work with the nation’s leading network for 4G LTE coverage to offer a digitally-based, customer-first phone service that provides family plan rates direct to individuals - no group sign up or US credit history required.
In particular, we serve international students who are most affected by the current restrictions from major network providers. We eliminate the family plan structure and US credit history requirement of major network providers. Since launching April 2019, we serve students at over 25 leading universities.
Role:
Work closely with two former and incoming Bain consultants to design and execute ConnectED Mobile’s Campus Ambassador Growth strategy for your campus
Build partnerships with leaders/organizations on your campus and serve as an ambassador for our brand
Spring/ Early Summer: Build a digital marketing strategy to reach students preparing for school
Late Summer/Early Fall: Plan and execute events around campus (e.g. tabling and handing out flyers, distributing SIM cards, speaking at new international student orientation, etc.)
Serve as a point of contact for students on your campus interested in becoming a ConnectED customer

Requirements:
A self-starter that can run effectively run with tasks without needing to be micromanaged
A problem solver that can “hack” their way through problems as they arise
A people person who is passionate about connecting with others and building partnerships
Preferably an international student who is well connected with the international student community and has international friends at universities across the United States
Please note:
This role is structured to avoid any concern with regards to F-1 visa requirements. All international students are eligible without any F-1 visa violation or interference.
